you could try giving them canned tuna, chicken(any type of chicken), any type of fish. most cats love milk or cream of any kind. theres always little cans of wet cat food at the store to. you could by a bag of cat food and if the don't eat the hole bag you could give it away to an animal shelter.

Answerfeed it 2% milk and tuna if you have it, but be cautious and don't mess with them while they eat AnswerTry cold cuts and milk.

Do NOT feed cats milk or tuna. Milk causes diarrhea, and tuna is toxic and possibly fatal. Chicken without too many spices will work, or you can buy a smaller bag of cat food or a can or two of wet food. Once you start feeding cats, they won't go away because they have found a source of food.

If they are kittens then preferrably kitten food and water. They need something soft to chew at first. If they are full grown cast they will eat leftover food you give them or just pick up cheap cat food at the dollar store.

My cat is gray and long haired what kind of kittens should you expect?

It depends on what its mate's color is. You could be scientific and do a punnett square or you never know what it is because there might be a mutation and it might be a really random color.

Is it safe to keep the first litter of kittens with the second litter of kittens?

It would depend on how far apart the litters were born. If they were born fairly close together, it might be okay. Otherwise, no. The younger kittens could not handle the roughhousing the older kittens are used to.

Probably not. The mother could be very protective and also if you are not very very careful you could hurt the kittens. But soon after they open their eyes I think it might be safer.

Why cats don't look after their kittens?

Cat's do look after their kittens. They are very good mothers. If a mother cat is not looking after her kittens, it could be due to her being very sick, or due to a lack of food, to the extent that she does not feel they can survive. If she is not nursing them, there could be something wrong preventing her from producing milk. In a case like this, you must seek help from a vet right away or the kittens might die.

Why can't kittens go outside?

Kittens can go outside. If they are born outside, then they'll be perfectly used to it out there. Kittens like to roam around, explore and play with each other. Although, it is probably wise to keep a very young kitten inside the house or a barn because of the many dangers outdoors, and then you could help it adjust to being outside as it gets older.

Do Maltese dogs kill kittens?

Of course they do - they're dogs. Any dog might - and could - kill a kitten. Even small white fluffy dogs. Which is not to say that a Maltese dog WILL kill kittens - but it might, given opportunity and insufficient socialisation / training to prevent it.
