∙ 8y agoAfter the defeat of Hannibal at the Battle of Zuma, Hannibal remained in Carthage for a time. He was not welcomed there anymore and he found himself in the court of Antiocbus III . He was hired by the this ruler and advised military action against Rome. This was a disaster and the Seleucids were badly defeated by the Romans at the Battle of Magnesia in 189 BC BCE.
