Finland,Spain and Switzerland were locked in a 3 way fight for 4 out of the 7 years ww1 was fought.
Like anybody cares what countries world war1 was fought am I right?
Most of World War 1 was fought in France and Belgium. French towns and rural areas suffered the most damage. The Belgian forests and border areas suffered damage.
none of the world wars were litterally a world war, not all of the countries fought on both wars and the countries didnt fight everyone on each other in both wars, WW2 was classified as a war world because it splitted most of it [Europe and USA joined it too] into 2 groups that fought each other: Allies and Axis.
Most of World War 2 (but of course not all) was fought in Europe.
World War I was fought over nearly the entire globe. Naval battles were fought in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans and countries from most continents were involved in the fighting. The war was fought in Europe, the middle east, Asia, and many other locations.
USA & Borneo,
They fought the Germans, Japanese, and Italy
World War I was fought in many countries. The "most famous" battlegrounds are in France and Belgium, but fighting also occurred in Serbia, Russia, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Pacific islands, etc. It was a world war, after all.
WW2 was fought in most of the countries in Europe except Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Sweden. - Also in Palestine, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and Morocco. In the Pacific it was fought across most of the Pacific Islands and Burma, Singapore and Malaysia
Since at that time most of the European countries where most of the war was fought still had colonies in Asia, Africa and South America.
Most of the world fought in it.
Some countries have accurace (or as accurate as possible) records of who fought in their forces in World War I; but some countries for various reasons have little or no records of this information.
