I total there were 63 countries between 1920 and 1946 who became member states of the League of Nations. In the absence of the USA, Britain and France were the most powerful countries in the League. Italy and Japan were also permanent members of the Council (a small group of the more important nations - inc. Britain, France, Italy & Japan -met 4-5 times a year). Throughout the 1920s and 1930s it was Britain and France who usually guided policy, but neither of them had the resources to fill the gap left by the USA and both countries had other properties.
The Main nations involved with the league were:
France 1919-1945
Britain 1919-1945
Italy 1919-1945
Japan 1919-1933
Germany 1926-1933
USSR 1934-1939
USA never joined

The League of Nations later turned into the United Nations. So basically the entire U.N. is the League of Nations. This originally consisted of 58 nations, and since I do not want to list them all, then just look up "League of Nations original members" on Bing.
One of the Allied countries who did not join the League of Nations was the United States. Hope this helps, but this may not be the complete answer!
The US's rejection of the treaty caused many countries to withdraw from the League of Nations. The League of Nations late proved ineffective and was disbanded as the UN was formed in its place.
