∙ 12y agoMagellan was the first to circum-navigate the world (Sail completely around the world) And he sailed for Spain. He sailed around the world on 1519 and it took him 4 years to complete, although he never finished his sail because he was killed by a friend's enemy in a war in Indonesia. His crew buried his body on the island, burned his ship, then finished the mission/sail/goal (or what ever else you wanna call it.)
