Including Mexico, there are 7 countries in Central America that speak Spanish as an official language: Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.

In Belize (formerly British Honduras) the official language is still English.

Spanish is an official language in these countries:

Spanish is a de facto official and national language in these countries:

It is also common, though not official, in these countries:

  • Andorra
  • Brazil
  • United States

I suppose it is fair to say that all other countries "do not speak Spanish," but it depends on what you mean by that (official/non-official language for example).

Generally everywhere except Belize.

The six countries are Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. And (depending on the definition of "Central America") Mexico.

The only non-Spanish country in Central America is Belize (formerly British Honduras). Even there, Spanish is widely spoken and used in commerce.
