Hail can damage roofs, siding, windows, cars, satellite dishes, and each year causes millions of dollars of damage to crops like corn and soy beans. It can rip the leaves off of trees and in extreme cases, kill small animals.

This is actually a question on 7th grade worksheets so they are not stupid. Also you are the stupid one for not knowing how to spell. :)
The answer to the question is that hail can become very large in balls so you can be hit and it can cause brain damage or more injuries. Also dents in cars.. I'm not exactly sure if that is a good "hazard" though... Hail can be very dangerous so it is true that this is an easy question to answer.
Hail occurs when strong, tubulent updrafts occur in a thunderstorm. These alternately carry water droplets above and below the level at which water freezes. With each cycle a new layer of ice is added and the droplet grows to a hailstone. Eventually the hailstone becomes to heavy to be held up by the updraft and falls to earth. If hail is large enough it can dent cars, smash windshields, destroy crops, and kill livestock.
they could damage many things, which is a result of precipitation.
Hail can have several effects. A major one people worry about is the possibility of property damage or injure from large hail stones.
it can destroy cars planes and all types of vehicle's .
Hail Storms can bring a ton of damage to homes, and especially those vulnerable rooftop air conditioning units. In Dallas, I have seen softball size hail that will damage air conditioners badly. If the hail hits in the right spot right on the vulnerable fan vents, it can break through and damage the fans and any other internal components. So it really depends on the size and severity of the storm to determine how much damage the hail can really do. Also something to keep in mind if you notice hail damage to your AC unit is that your roof may also have sustained damage during the onslaught. I would have both inspected especially if there is visible damage.
In March 2009, a large hail storm struck north Austin, with stones as large as three inches. This storm was notable for the large area it covered, from the Four Points area on the west to Parmer Lane at the 45 Tollway on the east. Insurance companies rated it one of the most expensive hail storms on record. In 2008, a hail storm cut a narrow swath from Tarrytown to Hyde Park. This same storm also resulted in hail damage in Lost Creek and surrounding neighborhoods. This was an unusual storm in that it left some homes battered, while one block away there was no hail at all. In 2007, small hail storms hit parts of Circle C in south Austin, portions of Cedar Park and Leander, and neighborhoods in Round Rock. In 2006, parts of Leander, Pflugerville, and far north Austin were hit. In 2005, Northwest hills was pummeled by large hail. The five years prior to 2005 were pretty quiet, with only very isolated hail in and around Austin. I know all this because I own Premier Roofing.
You can hide under something hard to protect yourself if the hail is big. Or you can go somewhere where there is no hail!
If your roof is damaged in a hail storm, it really depends on the severity of the damage sustained and whether your insurance will cover the repairs. If the storm is anything like the recent hail storms in the Dallas Fort Worth area, then you probably experienced hail the size of softballs. This hail can cause all kinds of damage to your roofing and can be covered by homeowners insurance as long as you approach it the correct way. In my experience as an insurance adjuster in Dallas, it is extremely beneficial to have an expert to help walk you through the claims process, help negotiate a fair insurance settlement, and restore your roof to like new condition. Usually the repairs will require patching of the roof or removing and replacing entire sections. The thing with hail damage is that it can be deeper than the visible surface, so a professional inspection with specialized equipment can really help prevent any further issues down the line.
It can sometimes be easy to know that there has been some damage to your roof after a hail storm. The first thing to check is your air conditioning unit and your window screens to see if there are splatter marks on them. These are a great indicator of larger damage to your roof. Other obvious signs like missing shingles and a leaking roof are easy to spot as well. Most hail storm damage can be diagnosed with a visual inspection, but sometimes a more in depth inspection of your roof will help to prevent any long term issues from coming up later. I always recommend having a professional go up on your roof to completely inspect it as they know exactly what to look for.

If you metal shed is pretty close to your home you will be able to hear the hail on the shed. It should not cause much damage though.
NO, Homeowners Insurance would cover hail damage to the home depending on his policy but not to the cars, not his own car or anyone else's car. That's what car Insurance is for.
It is important to contact your insurance provider right away after any type of damage. Most, if not all, companies provide storm damage coverage but make sure you study your policy as there are so many different types of storm damage (wind, hail, lightning, etc.)

There are many combinations that will work, but my five favorites are cold and hail, cold and storm, hail and lightning, hail and storm, and lightning and storm. You have to start breeding the dragons between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
