First, to "pray" you have to have a deity to pray to. Buddhism has no deities so Buddhists never pray. They do meet together to receive teachings, sermons, chant, think, meditate, reflects, remember. They do this as often as local cusom dictates, schedules permit, personal desires require, or never. There is no specific day (like the Moslem Friday, the Jewish Saturday or the Christian Sunday) to do this.
