He invented the Franklin stove but did not patent it. He invented the lightening rod which saved people's homes from being sturck by lightening. He was a citizen of of the world; he was for the people and did his best to help them. He had asked France for weapons in the Revoluntionary War. He had written articles, started the PA Gazzete, opened aprint shop. He organized Philadelphia's first firrew brigade, free public libraries, and a police force. He was an inventor. The Franklin institution is in his honor it is in Philadelphia Pennslyannia in the Untied States. It has a lot of info on him and his legacy.
