After graduating college, Child worked as a copywriter for the advertising department of a home furnishing store. During World War II, Child joined the Office of Strategic Services as a typist. Due to her education and experience, Child soon became a Top Secret Researcher in the Secret Intelligence division working directly for the head of the OSS, General William J. Donovan. She served in Washington D.C., Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) and China. Julia Child met her husband, Paul Child, in Ceylon and was married in Pennsylvania. Paul Child introduced Julia to fine cuisine. Paul joined the United States Foreign Service and was assigned to Paris, where Julia joined the famous culinary school, Le Cordon Bleu.

When did Julia Child start a TV show on PBS?

There is some discrepancy in regard to when Julia Child's first show, "The French Chef," began. Some sources (Wikipedia, PBS) cite 1962 while others (Biography, Smithsonian, IMDB) cite early 1963. Her first appearance as a chef on television was as a guest on a book review show in 1962 She attended Le Cordon Bleu cooking school in France in 1948, so it took her about fourteen to fifteen years to get a cooking show after her training. I found this answer by searching for "julia child" (no quotes) and "the french chef" (no quotes) in Google. All of the sources provide additional information about Julia Child. How do you stop child support if your not the father?

Paternity will have to be established by DNA test before the court makes you pay child support so I wonder how you began paying in the first place. You will have to prove you are not the father and then go back to the same court that issued the child support order.
