What did Sacajewea have in common with Mary Wollstonecraft?
well Mary wollstonecraft was a very important women during the
industrial revolution. She was a feminist and a writer. Some of her
more famous books or document was a document of womens rights. The
document explained that women had the power to do just as much as
men were able to do. She also had a very tragic childhood with an
abusive father and she would protect her family and slee p in front
of her mothers room to protect her. So now we can jump to
sacajewea. She was also very prtective over her child. she carried
her child all the way throught the Lewis and clark expedition. She
also had a very tragic childhood, when she was just 8 years old she
was kidnapped by another tribe and then forced to marry at the age
of 13. She had her first child at the age of 16. CAn you imagine.
well they both brought major contributions to reconizing women in a
different way. they showed people that women could do more than
just stay at home and cook and clean. So all the women out there
right now have sacajewea and Mary to thank.
