He was a minister of Massachusetts who was unsatisfied of how John Winthrop ran Massachusetts. In 1636, he led his congregation throughout the wilderness of Connecticut and founded the town of Connecticut. Three years later Hartford, Windsor, and Wheathersfield formed a colony. Thus Connecticut was born!
