When he was in that age group there wasn't teens. The idea of teenagers began in the 1940's. Churchill was from an autocratic family, served in the British military, and was writer before going into politics. He grew up in Dublin, Ireland and in 1888 he was sent to boarding school and joined the Harrow Rifle Corps. His father died when he was 21. In 1900 he became a member of parliament.
