China did not really get anything out of the Korean War. In reality China was afraid that the U.S. will cross into its borders. So it deployed more than a million troops to help North Korea Repel south korean and american forces back.

The only thing China got out of the Korean War was national pride or a feeling that if the nation could set their mind into something (Unite) they could take on a world power.
