He went to Peru in South America where they were at at the time to warn them about the next oncoming attack. Then he left them there because there weren't enough ships to take them with him. They didn't listen about the attacks because there hadn't been any sight of the enemies for a while so they trudged on past Peru and went even further south. Turns out, President Harrison was right and they were attacked again.
I think you are thinking of the Baltimore Crisis which occurred in Chile in October of 1891.
Crew members of the USS Baltimore were attacked by a mob while on shore leave.
Two US sailors were killed and others were seriously wounded. The US was outraged and threatened military retaliation but the Chilean government agreed to pay an indemnity of $75,000 to the families of the victims.
This was called the Baltimore Crisis. Two American sailors were more than attacked, they were killed along with dozens of others who were jailed. What Benjamin Harrison did was demand reparations, which is compensation in money, material and/or labor. The Chilean President balked at he idea and rejected it. Thus Benjamin Harrison resorted to threatening to break off diplomatic relations. The US Government Administration reconciled diplomatic relations and war was averted. A+ Ls

Michael Abram stabbed George Harrison in 1999.
Governor William Henry Harrison of the Indiana Territory led the American forces at the Battle of Tippecanoe near Prophetstown.
Tecumseh was leading the Native American Tribes to reject the culture of White settlers in the midwest. His brother called the Profit, however, urged violence against the whites. The Profit attacked American settlers in Indiana. Future US president, General William Henry Harrison led US militias against the Native Americans. By 1811, and claimed victory that same year.
William Henry Harrison attacked and destroyed Prophets Town in Indiana because he saw it as a threat to American expansion and indigenous alliances. The town, led by the Shawnee leader Tenskwatawa (also known as the Prophet), attracted indigenous tribes and dispossessed Native Americans who were resisting American encroachment. Harrison believed that destroying Prophets Town would weaken Native American resistance in the region.

The Thornton Affair, where American blood was shed when American and Mexican troops attacked each other. The problem is, they fought on a no man's land (the Nueces Strip).
