Britain traded oils and foods such as vegetables, meat and sugary foods to other countries, but mainly to Africa. In return, Africa shipped rich furs and elephants tusks back to Britain. This was known as the 'Triangular Trade' as America also incorporated into this trade, by giving the fruit that was shipped to Africa to Briatin. In return to this gesture, Britain gave America many grown vegetables such as carrots, turnips, rhubarb, tomatoes and green beans. Rarely, Britain passed over some spare materials that Africa has given them to America. This would pay more, therefore earning Britain more and more money each year. this 'Triangular Trade' occurred every month, unless one of the three counrties invlved could not afford to participate that month.
