Because the nuclear test ban treaty did not cover underground testing, US President Kennedy knew the US was already ahead of all other nations in this type of testing. It therefore fit into the imperialistic plans of aggression in the world. That the Soviet Union agreed to this treaty is an indication that it has abandoned Marxism-Leninism. It also indicates that once again, NS Khrushchev has proven that he is a running dog of the US and UK imperialists.

It banned nuclear testing above ground. 116 countries signed the treaty.
The reaction of the Chinese Communist Party on the 1963 Nuclear Test Ban Treaty was antagonistic. They cited the new treaty as more evidence that the Soviets and the Americans were in an alliance against the principles of Marxism-Leninism and the struggles of workers world wide.
The Communist government of China was outraged when the USSR and the USA signed the famous test ban treaty regarding nuclear weapons. One main charge of China was that the USSR signed this treaty with the USA in order to prevent China from obtaining nuclear weapons.
no (at least not that we know of). However their uranium resources have been utilized in the manufacturing nuclear weapons (though the mine that supplied uranium has been closed since 1960). There are some concerns of illegal mining activity, but they do not pose a major threat in the issue of nuclear programs. Democratic Republic of the Congo signed the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and also has signed but not yet ratified the African Nuclear Weapons Free Zone (Treaty of Pelindaba). just google it (:
i believe it was the nuclear nonproliferation treaty. No treaty bans nuclear weapons. The nonproliferation treaty simply tries to limit them to countries that already have them. But countries that don't sign can still try to make them.

Indonesia hasn't signed or ratified the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. Even though they use nuclear power they don't have any nuclear weapons that we know of.
It is still on. The Treaty contains the only binding commitment to nuclear disarmament in a multilateral treaty that became international law in 1970.
The Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, also know as the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty or NPT.
the treaty was important because it limited the construction of nuclear weapons and punished any nation that used nuclear weapons on another nation
nothing as there was no such treaty in 1955.
The Treaty could be this one: Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. See link below for the entire story of the treaty.
