The Ronettes, originally known as Ronnie and the Relations, were a musical group produced by Phil Spector. It is not so widely known this wall of sound group also toured, did concerts, and in fact was the only female group known to have toured with The Beatles! The Ronettes worked up some neat stage acts, which varied quite a bit, the TV acts on Bandstand and Shindig were toned down., For example in the uncut version of the ( Transfiguration) act by the Big Three. The Girls were not only wearing white dresses- but in the nightclub act had flowers in their hair and all three were barefoot! at the code phrase ( We"ll make "em turn their heads, every place we go. the curtains on the amplfifiers were parted, Ronnie split into three- the Two other Ronettes in a sort of triangular formation! From the right angles it is starkly effective, with the original costuming, a touch of the occult. No, The Zombies were Not the back up band but that was the idea they were trying to get across!

Presenting, the Fabulous Ronettes featuring VERONICA ( the words Ronettes and Veronica in full caps) This was their first and signature album. Veronica has an alm ost Elizabeth Taylor- Cleo hairdo in the center position as lead singer. This is the oldest and I guess rarest Ronettes album. By the way the name of the group may in part have evolved from a trade name for a neat (tactical) Microphone called Ronette. This was a trade name.
Paradise by the Ronettes.
