How did the cooperation help the English at Jamestown and Plymouth?

In Jamestown there wasn't much cooperation. The men were not interested in doing anything but looking for gold. There was even a Spanish spy with the settlers. As far as the Pilgrims go their purpose was different from Jamestown . They planned on forming a community and creating a life. It was an accident that Jamestown became an established colony and not something they planned. The Pilgrims were a cohesive group all with the same values and purpose so cooperation was part of it within and with the Native Americans.

Why did some Native Americans attack settlers as well as troops?

The plains NATIVE AMERICANS did not randomly attack. The settlers were not innocent. The settlers attacked Native Americans also which is why Native Americans fought back. They also forced Native American young to go to boarding schools to get rid of Native American cultures and languages.

Why did Roanoke the lost colony go missing?

Roanoke is called The Lost colony because all the settlers disappeared. It was founded in 1587. The founder returned to England for supplies. But when he left the oceans were dangerous, and when he got to England, England was at war with Spain. It took him 3 years to come back. When he arrived, the settlers were gone. On a tree the settlers wrote, "Croatoan". However, their message was not deciphered at the time. Theories now say the settlers died of starvation or from Indians, or they tried to sail away, or some other calamity happened to them.

How are the pilgrims different from the Jamestown settlers?

Indians are indigenous people. (There is some discussion that the term Indians for the people of North America actually came from a misunderstanding and mispronounciation of the word "indigians"--- and not from an idea that the Americas were actually India.) Indigenous means that they were the native people-- and really only means that they had been in America for many generations. Puritans were English people who emigrated to North America. The English government was actually happy to see them go to America where they would cause less trouble, and begin development in America.
