If you are using the internet for research, you probably cannot find much because of the work that would be involved to go back all of the pre-internet years to enter information kept only on paper and in books. You will probably have to find some older texts or some newer books comparing techniques of the day versus those of prior decades.
Unfortunately, much of the diagnoses were very subjective.
