exactly the same as you will find in any modern western country. very formal suits in certain professions, more casual in leisure time. the old shawls are practically gone and most under 30's would have no concept whatsoever of the older forms of dress. Same as what other western countries wear. Contrary to common misconceptions, we are not all leipreachains.

People in Ireland wear fairly regular clothes like trousers, shirts, jeans etc. There is nothing particularly special. Weather varies in Ireland, so obviously that will affect what clothing people wear. If they are going out socialising, they wear more casual clothes. If they are going to a more fancy event, like a wedding, they will dress up more with suits or other good clothes for men and nice dresses or outfits for women. Ireland has many fashion designers that design clothes for the Irish market, but also internationally.

Well, don't wear anything kelly green or bright orange. Nothing with the Irish flag on it. Just jeans and a long sleeved shirt with a collar and buttons up the front blends in pretty well. T-shirts, too. And blue jeans.

Hi Make sure you take an umbrella with you but otherwise normal clothes as in all western European countries. Very expensive country and no smoking in restaurants or bars or public places
