Earth = car frame (ground) Supply= fused 12 volts from battery Load = 12 volts to lights See a href="http://www.kclites.com/instructions/6301_Non-RelayHarness.pdf">this page for a good diagram. <
There should be only two wire connections on the stop light switch. You need to put a constant 12v supply to one side of the switch and the light wire itself to the other side. The switch then needs to be adjusted so that the brake pedal holds the switch in to keep the lights off. When the pedal is depressed the lights will go on. If they stay on all the time, re-adjust the brake switch.
The Sun is our primary source of light and heat here on Earth.
light energy
You can either go to switch or to light first. I wired house for my brother ran power supply from junction box then to each switch then to light. Passed inspection no problem
The switch sounds like it might be arcing. Switches are inexpensive, change it out with a new one. With the power off and the old switch removed check the connections in the switch junction box for loose splices or burnt wire nut connectors. If everything is fine there check the light junction box for loose connections.
That's one I've never seen. Does the bathroom light turn ON when the bedroom light is switched Off? Does the bathroom light switch turn the bathroom light on and off normally when the bedroom light switch is left on? Need to answer these questions, then find where the bathroom light power comes from. It's power supply should either go directly from the power oanel to the bathroom light or to the bathroom light switch. The bathroom light switch merely acts as an interrupter for the hot leg of this power supply.
When there is no supply voltage or a switch is open or a fuse has blown to name a few.
1) light bulb burned out 2) switch not turned on 3) switch broken 4) power supply disconnected
The lights are independent of each other so if both (or 3 if you have a center one) are out then it is likely the brake switch or it's wiring. Check the connections to the switch as well.
One possibility is that the connections are loose. Heat is generated. The switch was wrapped in black electrical tape and it is melting. Switch off and get it checked by a qualified electrician.
It can be done but it requires knowledge about how a 3way is wired to convert it to a regular switch. It would involve testing live wires to determine where power starts at. You can't just replace one switch.
Reverse light switch is probaly connected to switch on transmission check connections
