I know not what others may say, and this response is from a completely personal point of view. Freedom to me is to be what I am, an independent cab driver. I have no boss other than my customer (if I choose to accept him/her). I have nobody sitting in a back room somewhere adding up how many hours and/or minutes I have worked and how much tax I owe. If I want, at any time, to take a coffee break or an hour-and-a-half breakfast I have no problem with that. I am free to examine the countryside and form my own opinions. For entreprenuers, there is no retail stock to maintain, no employees to pay, no taxes to collect. All expenses including gasoline are all tax deductible. Sure sounds like freedom to me.

I think that it's not all that it's cracked up to be. People think 'freedom' means not being owned by someone, not being a slave. Being able to do what we want. Well, we can still be slaves to the world. Greed, addictions, revenge... etc. Our souls may be the slaves.
