well they need deep water with something floating at the top, you need a speical tropical fish tank with a filter thermomater and a heat lamp. you can find turtle food in any common pet store. they also need ornament because the yget bored and fight. do not put turtles with fish because after a while they will eat them. depending on which type of turtle they grow to different sizes. sawback turtles grow 14 inches.
