That's a very difficult situation. Reputation is a powerful thing and hard to overcome. Other people's refusal to see changes in you can make you want to go right back to the old behavior.
You may not be able to persuade everyone that you've changed, but start with one or two. If you have a friend who can see that you've changed, start there. Don't mount a PR campaign and try to spread the word. Just concentrate on sustaining your changes with this friend so he or she can see they're genuine and you really have changed.
That's how you get a new reputation: by changing the present. The present changes the past.
If your changes are sincere and you have really improved (and made them a habit), your new behavior will stay with you when you leave this school, and probably your reputation won't.
One other thing: is there anyone in your school that youshould give a second chance to--despite their reputation?
