I delete inappropriate responses (obscene or derogatory comments) duplicate answers ("yes" or "no" type) and those others which do not appear relevant to the question. Other answers that could be correct or not depending upon the situation of the questioner I leave as is or combine with a similar response. That may or may not be the best solution or even the correct one, but it works for me. I believe this results in responses being understandable and yet no one (hopefully) feels ignored or that their contributions are not valuable.
