oil leaking on your spark plugs in your Lincoln LS because you have a leaking valve cover gasket.

Oil on the outside of the spark plugs is caused by a leaking valve cover gasket. Replace the valve cover gasket. Oil on the electrode of the spark plugs indicates the engine is worn and is burning oil. The only fix for this is an engine rebuild.

Leaking valve guides in the head will cause oil to get around the spark plugs.

oil on the spark plugs is generally due to broken ring or rings in the cylinder or cylinders can also lead to a blown engine

Spark plug tube seals need changing

Worn down piston rings will allow the oil to seep up into top chamber where the spark plugs are. Otherwise, you just have too much oil in your crankcase.

Spark plugs do not leak oil. What you have is a valve cover gasket leak. This allows oil to run down on the plugs. Try slightly tightening the valve cover bolts. Well 9 out of 10 times this is an indication that you have oil leaking past the valve guide seals and leaving an oil residue on the plugs.

If the motor is healthy, the oil will burn off in a moment or two.

Remove the oil cap and the eco plate underneath it. Disconnect the wires and remove the coil pack, and the spark plugs will be under that.

Sounds like the rings may be "shot" and oil is being pumped up the cylinder wall to the plugs

There are seals under the valve cover that need replaced to repair oil on the spark plugs.

Replace the spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, oil, and oil filter. Mr.brown

One (or more) spark plugs are not firing, causing the unburnt fuel to seep trhough the cylinder and into the oil pan. Check the spark plugs and/or spark plug wires to see which one(s) are at fault.

You might have to much oil in the engine. Check oil. Clean spark plugs. (remove and use sand paper to clean)

Removing the spark plugs and finding the spark plugs soaked with gasoline. Also the engine oil may have a strong odor of gasoline.
