There really isn't much that you can do. The babies will have to fend for themselves. If you have plants and such in the tank they may be able to hide, but a few will be found by hungry adult fish.
Best bet is to let the parents tend the babies. Be wary of large filter intake grates and other fish. There are specially made baby holder that are made of mesh for water movement that clip into the inside of your tank to keep fry or injured fish safe while not needing a separate tank.
Yes, as long as you keep it below 500mg.
no fish are opportunists and would eat all of the, but if they are protective of them they will protect them i hope i was helpful goodbye
It RAINS for the whole weekend so the fish were safe for another week is not grammatically correct. Rains is present tense; were safe is past tense.Correct: It rained for the whole weekend so the fish were safe for another week.
no because it an eat the babies for attention from the mama just keep him in a small extra cage until the babies are big enough
Go catch some fish
You can buy a small plastic tank that hangs on the inside edge of your big tank and put babies in that until they get larger. Or you can just buy another ,smaller, aquarium just for babies. Or, you can load up your aquarium with plants so the babies can hide. Not much else you can do. Sorry, missred the question. I find that when fry are large enough to swim like a normal fish, as opposed to bouncing along or swimming kind of erratic, that they are usually safe from the parents. Although keep an eye open. If a fish is small enough to eat with no trouble there's always a chance it will get eaten.
Well surge protectors are usually safe if not overloaded. Keep them away from hazards, and do not submerge them in fish tanks. If they are placed in fish tanks the fish would die.
They pick them up on their backs and carry them into through wilderness hoping to keep them safe!!
It RAINS all right, for the whole weekend, so the fish were safe for another week.
Yes, they will do this. You have to have a girl and a boy together to make any babies. It may be safe to keep the boys away from the girls.
It all depends on the type of fish you have, but 72-82 degrees is pretty safe. I'd keep it around 76-78.
