What do you do if you tell a girl that you will wait for her forever and you dated for 3 months and then separated because she needed time but you don't know if she really loves you?

You should never make promises you can't keep no matter how much in love you are. You may have put too much pressure on her with that statement "I'll wait forever for you" or she may be taking advantage of you. Never let your mate know in detail how far you are will to go to keep them (this includes women.) It's OK to break this promise and don't sit around while she sees who she wants to see and like a kid in a candy store decides what type of candy she is looking for. I suggest you sit and talk to her one last time and tell her, that as much as you love her and would love to wait for her, you've thought about it, and decided it's best if you both date other people and that way you are both sure that you are right for each other. This will not only get you off the hook, but perhaps a break-up for a short time is a good thing, and both of you will see if you are suited for each other. A kind word of advice ... it's wonderful to tell someone you love them and you should, but don't put too much pressure on her because it doesn't sound like she's ready for it. No man or woman really wants their mate making promises of waiting for them forever because it makes them feel badly if they fall out of love with that person. Take it slow and easy. Good luck Marcy
