Talk to them - tell them you're worried - they may be able to help, be more supportive. At least they will understand you care about your grades, which is important to them. Then, providing you work hard, they are likely to be much more sympathetic if you do do poorly.
Stop making them mad, and they won't be mad at you. Then everything will be fine.

They want you to try really hard to be successful, so they punish you to help you get better grades.
It mean's your getting older and your emotion's are developing which means your going to get mad a lot quicker than normal
It depends what did your sister do? If she has bad grades okay parents get a little annoyed at that. Did she break something or do something she wasn't allowed to do? Did she (in an extreme case) get pregnant or get aids or HIV or an std? In all of these classes parents will get mad but for the last one, I would be pissed beyond belief, so it would be no wonder if your mom was mad about that

Parents are afraid that they are just giving answers when they help. They are not trained to ask the leading questions to get students to remember the important details. When I answer questions on line I give an explanation so it will help.
