What do you do when someone copies you?

You should be flattered as she obviously looks up to you and admires you, your style and the way you are. Good friends are hard to come by and if this is her only flaw with you then embrace it, be happy and be flattered as she thinks your cool. This is very common and this is what friends do. You may also just think she is copying you when in fact she is doing whatever is trendy as your are and it is just a coincidence so don't be so judgemental or think you are better than her.

If it's something personal then tell her to ask beffore she copies you.

yes but my friend is gona aduction for a chance 2 tour with justtin bieber and i told her i was gona do that like 1 month ago and tis morning i got a message saying i gona tour with him not you and its so stuiped she has never coped me befor and now she has i like it really annoyes me i wanna just wanna run away and not do anything in my crapy life....!!!!>>>>>!!!!!!

she probably really looks up to you but that is definitely very annoying. dont tell her when you buy something, and give her gifts for her bday and Christmas that are completely different than something you would buy for yourself. since shes copying you on everything, she'll probably start buying more things of the sort you gave her and leave you alone.

plan b: take her shopping and point out things that are nice-looking, but not your style. show her something she'd look good wearing, but that's not your taste. or, try taking her to a completely different store than the one you shop at. introduce her to the clothes there and hope that she wont copy you any more!

if all fails, tell her nicely, "i think this would look better on you," or "if you want my opinion, that other store is more your style," or "our styles are kind of different, but i know a store that sells clothes that look so cute on you!" she'll eventually grow out of it

now theres this girl in my class and shes not so popular as me. Not alot of people like her. She gets teased alot and its not that i tease her its thart i just dislike her for copying ME! Im quite a Tomboy and i say stuff in my own way and do stuff that i do. i Have noticed that she watches what i do its really annoying. She even speaks like me. NOw im not jealous or anything but i think shes doing that for attention. I feel like shes trying to steal my identity or something. Its really frustrating. SHe talks, acts, wears and even argues alot more! you know i cant tell her cause she will tell her mom and everything so i dont want to get in trouble and all. Heres wat i think u should do if theres someone copying you and u dontt like him/her:

1. Tell her in a slightly angry mode to stop. If he/she starts acting innocent and all, just tell the person what she is doing and tell her its really pissing you of.

2. Stand out. If there is more than one person copying you, dont just stay the same. Its just like letting them push you around.Change yourself to a better person.

3. Do not scream at the person to stop

4.I have learnt that writing/ typing your feelings out helps.

just dont let anyone about it.

5. If your mum/dad wont get all parental about it, tell them about it

(tips for tellling the person to stop: Approach them with only two of u. Tell her slightly annoyed that you think the person is copying you. Then If the person acts or dosent know she/he is copying, ask her this "Since when did you start doing this______?" DO NOT SPEAK LOUD OR ANGRY. If the person says she isnt and its her own idea or she dosent know why, show her what sheis doing. She/He will confess eventually. If the person keeps doing it. Repeatyour message to her again.

I know im amazing and stuff but i really want to be an individual, I want people to know me for me and not a clone of someone. Hope you understand.

Look, its okay if you copy of me once or twice but You need to do work on your own. You are much smarter than me & can do much better pieces of work than me if you put the effort in. If they're doing it like crazy and you KNOW they'd do anything, put on a bald cap and wear it to school. The next day, still wear it, and your copier might have shaved their head! Then, take it off!

The best solution: ignore your friend. If he/she cannot copy anything you say, the power of copying is lost.
