I don't know why the mac would be beeping, but to remove the disk you have to restart the mac. Then once its shut off, hold down the 'left click' on the mouse or keypad until you can tell its starting up again. Then while still holding the mouse down, you hold the opition key. Do this for a couple seconds and the disk should come out, even if it isn't far enough in for the mac to read it :) I had the same thing happen to me and this saved me from a $100 bill :)

Mac (Apple) computers are ideal, but if you don't like the mouse-pad (the touch-compatible pad that is on the computer that you control the cursor with) then you can plug in a mouse or wireless mouse connector. You can also plug in tablets and most flashdrives into Mac computers, if you should need those tools to work with. I have a Compaq computer. It works just fine for me as a digital artist. Mac computers can be more complicated than others, so if you're looking for an easy-to-use computer for digital artists I would stay away from Mac. So I would recommend a Compq laptop, listed in the related links below.
