What do you do when you are dating a 51-year-old man and when you want to ask him a question he nags or starts an argument but when he wants to ask a question of you he wants a direct answer?

- You didn't mention how old you are. It could be you are considerably younger than him and he's treating you more like a child, yet expecting the sexual side of the relationship at the same time. He can't have it both ways! Some men (and women) are simply bossy because they may even be a couple of years older and feel they know it all. When men hit their 40+ they do go through Andropause a type of Menopause like a woman (with lesser side effects.) He's set in his ways by 40 on and he wants everything neat and feels he's wiser and has the answers to everything. In other words "it's his way or the highway" and he'll argue to get his point across. You have to decide to either communicate with him and express your feelings to him and if he continues to argue and not listen or respect your feelings and opinions then you should move on from this person. You are in control of your own destiny so make it a good one.
- Break up is better than a situation that could cause you mental health problems in the case nothing improves when you try to resolve the problem.
- I think you should sit down with him and talk to him about this problem as he needs to understand that you feel this way about him, but if he doesn't listen then it appears your relationship is over.
