Just give him some time and space he obviously is having some emotional issues that he needs to deal with. It is best at this time that you tell him not to call you so frequently until he works things out for himself and distance yourself from him to allow him that "time to heal" from whatever he is healing from but he broke up with you - not sure exactly what that means -if you hurt him to cause the break up then that is why he is still contacting you. It is best to move on - without him.
