- It is very common when you try to help a friend realize the one they love is cheating and it is a no win situation. Your friend is going through the normal denial stage, but some of what you said has stuck with her (curiosity killed the cat) and she will be talking to her boyfriend about it. Let things cool off for a bit and do not bring the subject up and let your friend find out the hard way. She eventually will find out and her trust in you will become even stronger.
