Let them be. Everyone knows, relationships always stay forever. BUT DON't MAKE YOUR MOVE AFTER THEY BREAK UP! This can leave to a major fight. after your friend and crush become friends and you ask your friend's permission (this is just a nice way of doing things, so it doesn't lead to arguement), and s/he says yes, then you can make your move.
