Check your thermostat first, if that's OK then your heater core is likely bad
There is no such thing as a 1997 dodge saturn! Try again.
there should be a diagram on the back of the plastic panel you had to remove to look at the fuses.
Open the hood on your truck, look at the back firewall. You will see two water hoses sicking out. That is where your heater core is located. As for getting it out through the dash? Good luck.
Look at the engine temperature gauge. If it goes over 200 degrees, change the thermostat as it is stuck and therefore not allowing coolant to the heater core.
Look for a broken or disconnected rubber vacuum line under the hood near the master brake cylinder area.
Most likely, the larger volume of air, and its greater speed at the high setting is sucking all the heat out of the heater core that it can deliver. That is, the higher airstream "dilutes" the warmth of the heater core. The heater core may be clogged in the parts where the hot water runs through it. You could try power flushing your cooling system . . . on the cars I have had (Dodge, Plymouth) it was much easier (though not real easy) to simply replace the heater core, which on those cars was behind the glove compartment. If you look under the hood, you should see 2 black hoses going into the firewall near each other. That would be hwere the heater core is.
It is on the bottom of the passenger side of the dash. Look up from the passenger floor board and you will see it. It is held in by three bolts.
You have to replace the fan resistor pack. Open the glove compartment and lower the door, look in back on the firewall. Remove the two screws and the connector, pull out the resistor pack - replace it.
He's trying to soften the blow and make himself look like a good guy. He doesn't want you to be mad at him.
Generally, not quite. It'd be in the back inside behind the rear wheel... it'll have a plastic cover most of the time. http://ahanix.org/etc/dodge/carpet/image.php?img=100_6980.JPG Look at my passenger side rear wheel. The black/silder part is the rear heater.
your switch cable might be broke you will have to remove your dash
The heater motor resistor should be located on the passenger side. In behind the glove box. Look underneath and remove three plastic pins on the panel cover. Their will be two wiring harnesses leading to the resistor. located about the centre of heater housing.
