You will have to remove the fuel pump from the fuel tank. Then the next problem will be that the transmission that's in it now will not work right because it is computer controled and with your new engine none of the electronics / computer items / sensers will work on the old 350 engine.

It is a small block Chevy 350 engine with 6 bolt main caps.
It can be either one, Need to run the engine numbers or remove the oil pan to know for sure. GM. made 2-bolt and 4-bolt main 350 engines.
If its a 1/2 ton it will be a 2- bolt main, You can run the engine # if you need to know for sure. But i'd bet its a 2-bolt
you need a 350 put the 305 in the junk yard How long has the 305 lasted? Is it strong enough for you? If you need/want more power, go for a 350. If it's going to get extreme service (racing, heavy hauling), you might need the 4 bolt main, but probably not if it's just normal driving.
they stoped making the 4 bolt main 350 in 2002 hope that helps
A real LT-1 had a four bolt main block.
1500--2 bolt, 2500 4 bolt
can be both ,i have a 350 010 2bolt main
no cause a 4 bolt main has 2 extra bolts on each main
4 bolt their stronger better lasting
