Which engine? There are 3 different engine sizes and yes they have different filters. I highly suggest that if you have a 5.7L engine you let the dealer do it. ( talk to a service manager first before you try it, you will be shocked to find out what you have to go through to change that oil filter.) Also the transmission is the same way ( don't try to service it your self, add tranny oil) on the 5.7 engine there is NO tranny dip stick. It's designed to go 100,000 before servicing.I own a 2008 5.7 L Tundra I know!
I own both a 2008 tundra and a 2003 4Runner. Both of them have a cabin filter behind the glove box. Remove the glove box door and you will find it.
Which Engine? 4.0L, 4.6L or the 5.7L engine
