Fuel injection engines do not have a choke, Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator is bad, map sensor bad, these things can make engine run rich and flood.
Is the check engine light on??? If so have engine scaned with a scanner.
That truck has throttle body fuel injection. There is no choke.
the choke is sticking, have it repaired
It doesn't have one, it is throttle body fuel injected.
Your throttle could be sticking for one of two reasons; 1: your throttle cable coud be old an need repair.... (spray some WD40 in it see if that helps) 2:in side of your carb. there is either a throttle plate or a throttle piston.... inspect for particles of sand or build up of carbon... use the proper carb and choke cleaner for cleaning 3:your accelerator lever could also be damaged.
It depends on what model the mower is. Most of the newer mowers have the choke incorporated with the throttle. As you raise the throttle lever you will get to a part that it fits in a small grove. That is full throttle. Everything past that is the choke.
throttle
The engine in the 94 Z71 is more than likely a 5.7 Vortec. These engines are fuel injected, and have a Throttle Body that controls the amount of air intake. There is no Choke, as there were in the older models.
There is no choke light in a 1983 chevy, no matter what model you have.
sounds like its a carbureted truck id blame the carburetor for the problem most likely the choke is sticking or the choke control is not working. typically there is a spring like coil that opens and closes the choke based on engine temperature (the throttle plate on top and the linkages connected to it and so on should be inspected) ive seen a faulty idle air control solenoid on fuel injected vehicles do various things including this
choke, throttle, jet
Engines with automatic chokes also usually have an automatic throttle which is supposed to run the engine at the best speed. Changing the choke would probably also require coming up with some way to change the throttle.
how do you hook up a manuel choke on a small block chevy
