Silicone sealer, or gasket maker, even if you have a cork gasket use sealer. I recommend Ultra Black or Ultra Blue. Priscilla =^.^=
Yes there are sealers out there that can be used to seal or repair the gasket
to change the gaket youl have to drain all the oil out and change your oil fluid filter and gasket the gasket is the seal between your pan and car take pan off drain clean and put new gasket on pan and put it back on.
It could oil pan gasket, or camshaft oil seals, or rear main seal (crankshaft), or crankshaft front seal, or oil pump gasket, or oil pump seal. I would start with the oil pan gasket. Before doing anything make sure that climb under the car and check where the oil coming from.

No you do not, you would put oil on a oil filter gasket if it is a spin on type, this stops the rubber from binding and helps it seal.

You remove the bolts to the oil pan and the pull the oil pan off and the gasket.
