If you look at the preceding verses you see that the scribes and Pharisees are upset because Jesus is not paying attention to them. They thought they were the 'righteous/spiritual people' of those times. When Jesus ignores them and associates with 'sinners' they ask why.

Jesus answers by saying people who recognised themselves as in need (unrighteous), need help. The Pharisees' trouble was that although they followed the rituals of Judaism with great precision, their hearts were hard, cold, and merciless. So Jesus dismissed them with a challenge to learn the meaning of God's words, "I desire mercy, and not sacrifice" (quoted from Hos_6:6) verse 13.

We can learn that:

God cannot heal those who are proud, self-righteous, and unrepentant-like the Pharisees.

Why might some Christians think the title Son of Man helps them to understand who Jesus was?

Jesus was fully human as indicated by his title, Son of Man. These words reflect his natural human birth and yet Jesus was also fully divine as God's son. Jesus as 'Son of Man' is God in human form and so he understands what it means to be fully human. At birth Jesus is given the name Emmanuel which means 'God with us' (Matthew 1:23). Jesus was a human man and as that experienced the fullness of life: its burden and joy, its sadness and happiness, its pain and pleasure. Jesus was like us. Christians understand what the human condition is and so understand Jesus better when they consider he shared in living life as we do and knows what living requires of us.

I don't think there is any. There are two genealogies of Jesus' ancestors in Matthew Ch.1 and in Luke Ch. 3 and these are all males.

Did Jesus reveal His identity to five disciples as He broke bread?

The Bible doesn't say He did. Jesus had at other times revealed who He was to the disciples: Matthew 16:15,16 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." but still they did not really understand. This verse from John is during the Last Supper John 14:9 Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? I think the disciples did not fully understand who Jesus was until after His ressurrection
