What does Quran say about when the world will end?

the Muslim believe that date of the end of the world will be unknown to anyone. The night and day will become indistinguishable and the mountains and everything on the planet will die and everyone on that day will be screaming and will scurry like moths

Muslims do not know when the world is going to come to an end but they know exactly how it will happen. The Quraan says that the day when a war breaks out between Muslims and non-Muslims the rocks and trees will speak them if some one is hiding behind them. they will say : " there is a Jewish/Hindu/Buddhist/athiest behind this rock, kill him. ''

they also believe the sun will rise from the west and Dajjal ( a really evil anti-christ , with a patch over his eye ) will come and say that he is god, but get this non-believer will be written on his forehead. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Jesus (the prophet in Islam) will return to Earth physically to help the Mahdi to end all wars and restore eternal peace.
2. During the eternal peace, the wall that has imprisoned Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) will be broken and will march forth in a large amount of soldiers.
3. When the world is under Evil's control, Earth will summon a beast that will conquer Evil's reign.
4. At one point in time, people (those who practice Islam) will go through Qiyamah, or the Afterlife. Allah will signal to the angel Israfil, to blow the horn which will mark the beginning of the day of judgment (to bring all people to attention). According to tradition, Muhammad will be the first to be brought back to life.
5. The 2nd Time that Israfil blows the horn, all life will end.
6. The 3rd Time that Israfil blows the horn, everyone will be brought back to life to meet their Lord for their final judgement.

The Quran does predict the end of the world. It is almost identical to the Christian Bible. It states that only God knows when the end will be. But He gives signs as does The Bible. Some come up with the year 2280, but there have been so many predictions as to the time of the end and so far nobody has been right. The best we can do is live a good life and be ready.
