A commercial diet such as Reptomin Turtle Pellets. A good supplement is Turtle Bites, which are made of fruits and vegetables. It will also eat red leaf lettuce, which can be given daily. Other fruits and vegetables can be offered but should be limited to once a week.
Yes. My red ear slider turtles love to chase, catch and eat goldfish.
Very little
No. No animal will eat so much that it will explode.
No way!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The shark will eat it! Don't even take the chance!!
Yes... all red ear slider turtles eat fish. The main factor is size. If your fish is bigger than your turtle... there's nothing to worry. But.. if your turtle is quite bigger than your fishes... be assured they are all going to end up their life being turtle poops... :P
As a rule of thumb, you should not feed your turtle anything bigger than his head. Aquatic or semi aquatic turtles can eat fish. However, if you have them in a tank, even with filtration, it can cause an oily film on the surface of the water.
just throw your sperm in the tank and the turtle will eat it and it will be pregnet
Your turtle can eat feeder fish.
female red ear slider have a much shorter tail then the male.
Yes. The most common fish a Red Eared Slider will eat is Commet Goldfish. Red eared sliders will eat fish, but fish are full of worms and parasites which will contaminate your filter. For an indoor slider I suggest only pellets and veggies. Plus they eat parts of the fish and the rest you would have to clean out right away. My slider loves just his pellets, he snubs romaine lettuce and any other veggie I have tried. Ice berg lettuce is not good for sliders either. I have a 4 year old slider that is 5 inches long he is in a 40 gallon tank alone.
our red slider turtle is 1 1/2 years old and she will eat 5 small goldfish at a time.
Sliders need a varied diet not just one type of food. As they get older - they become more vegetarian in their dietary needs. A comprehensive list of food items can be found in the Wikipedia entry on the species (see related link)
