Check the wattage of the blow dryer and add 500 watt. This will be the size of generator you will need to use.
The field excitation could have been lost. Check the output from the voltage regulator.
It could run a small one. You need to check the rating on the refrigerator. There is a surge at stating so take that into account.Yes it will. The 2000 watt peak is what is used to compensate for motor inrush. That allows 11.5 amps for a continuous load. Thank You for your answer.
The formula to use is I = W/E. Amps = 20000/240 = 83 amps. Check the nameplate of the equipment that you want to connect to the generator. You can add equipment up to the total of 20000 watts or 83 amps.
The way I understand it ... no. The pilot generator is a thermally sensitive on/off switch. It simply tells the valve to open or close. If the unit turns on and fires it would seem the pilot generator has worked correctly. Since the amount of gas flow is the issue, it would seem the gas valve is the culprit and is not opening all the way. Of course, to be certain have a pro check it. If you must, a pilot generator is cheap and easy to replace without a professional, and replacement would quickly determine if the pilot generator was at fault.

Check for a correct carburettor dashpot setting. The dashpot is used to reduce engine speed to idle slowly to minimize hydrocarbon emmissions. If the dashpot is too slow then the idle will be high putting a load on the entire drivetrain.
In any DC generator the causes to fail to produce voltage is loss of residual flux in the field or fields , poor brush contact in the commutator(clean the brushes and commutator) , check all the terminals of the generator and voltmeter may not be functioningand lastly check the coupling and the prime mover is rotating.
Start the generator and check the voltage output at the receptacles on the generator with an AC volt meter.
check all parts of your generator accordance to release the fault. there may be some difficulties to remove your generator fault because your generator details are not available.
The sediment could be coming from the generator tank. The steam generator should be equipped with a flushing valve for flushing sediments from the generator tank. Flushing should be done once a month or more often depending on local water conditions and steam bath usage. Check your manual for trouble shooting and contact the manufacturer if needed.
Most companies won't require insurnace. Check with your rental company for details.
A good place to check for generator reviews is on the Generator Reviews at Electric Generators Direct website. They have many reviews for many products. Here is the website: http://www.electricgeneratorsdirect.com/reviews.php
Not all generators have the same output. Check the manual that came with your generator.
You can most definitely find a small generator at a hardware store. If they don't have any you can always check Wal Mart they have everything!!!!!!!!!
Check the wattage of the blow dryer and add 500 watt. This will be the size of generator you will need to use.
it is possible that you may have a problem with the govenor or the govenor spring on your genny, these may cause "hunting"which is what your genny is doing.if you have a parts breakdown manual check the location of these parts and make sure they are opperating correctly.
