That might depend on the year Lancer you're talking about.
For my 2008 GTS, my fuel filter is located inside my fuel pump, meaning when I have to replace the filter, I've got to replace the pump. I don't know how long Mitsubishi has been doing this, so you might be in the same boat as me.
The same as a good one
Drive it like you stole it!!
no it dosent only filter it has is the diesel filter under the bonnet change that if still running bad check the tank fuel pump as they rot like mad
The intake air temperature sensor for a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer is on the intake tube in front of the throttle body. It looks like a small metal box.
Check the fuel filter and the fuel pump pressure. The problem sounds like the fuel pressure is too low to keep the engine running.
You have to match the RPM's to the engine in a lancer, because the stock engine, like in my oz rally, is for drift racing, and you need your RPM's matched well to accel and keep control while in corners.
It's possible to find a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer at used car dealership. If that's not possible then sites like craigslist or ebay can provide one if one is lucky.
did u check the fuel line....it's always nearby the fuel rail connection, close to front wheels left usually, it'sa shiny aluminum container like....
depends i have a completely modified lancer that looks like an evo and pushes 265 whp. I've also seen some pretty awesome chick cars
It looks like what a fuel filter should be
well, it could be that you are on a hill and there is a transmitter that transmits the gas to run the car and if there isn't any fuel at that then it will just stall. Or it's not the fuel, it might be the water or the oil or somethig else like that
where is the fuel filter on a bob cat and what does it look like
