Your 1993 ford escort will not idle after the motor is warm and have replaced the idle air valve?

Perhaps a vacuum leak, or clogged throttle body. Perhaps just a worn out engine. When you replaced your idle air control valve, did you remove the battery for at least 10 minutes? It will reset the computer, then start the car up with all the accessories on, let it idle for about 5 minutes. It should relearn how to idle. Perhaps that will help.

1994 Taurus 3.8 fails to start when engine or weather is cold - ok when temperature is warm - Idle Air Control was the problem?

I am able to answer my "own" guestion, after taking my car in for repair at my local Ford Dealership. Ford first check to ensure fuel pressure is good and it was. They found a problem with idle air control valve. It sits right on top of the engine. It must be replaced can't be fixed or repaired.Ford part number cx-1854 (f68z-9f715-eb valve)

Where is the idle air control valve on a 5 speed 94 Honda accord LX and how do I adjust the idle?

The IAC valve is on the back of the throttle body. It has 2 bolts on the back of it and a black cylinder on one end. The idle adjuster screw is on the front of the intake and has a couple cables running to it. Let your car fully warm up and turn the screw to adjust the idle.

Why would a 93 Ford Escort wagon idle very rough when warm and have problems shifting after it is started and stopped?

Try changing your PCV valve it messes with the idle control. and shifting prob is likely in tranny and may not be related at all. try PCV valve and have your tranny serviced.

Why does my 1992 ford Taurus 3.8 liter engine hesitate on acceleration and idle rough when warm?

Sounds like your catalytic converter is getting plugged. The Rough idleing could also be apart of the IAC (Idle Air Control valve) being gunked up. Check the cats first, then if it continues to idle rough, take the IAC out and clean it with throttle body cleaner.

Why does 1995 Ford Escort start and run when cold but start and stall when warm then start and run well on second or third restart?

The idle speed control valve was bad.

1994 Dodge colt the car starts and idles fine when it's put into drive or reverse the engine rpm drops low and will stall out This only occurs when the car is cold car is warm no problem?

Your Idle Air Control valve may be sticking. Or the engine oil is to cold, thickens there is more power needed to crank the engine.

Why is your timing retarded on your 1995 Chevy s10 blazer?

Does it only occur when the engine is cold? There should be an idle valve with a vacuum hose i.e. BMW has a hose that comes from the intake manifold goes down into an electric valve then goes on to the throttle body intake hose. The timing is retarded to help start/idle the engine when it's cold if the hose came loose it will not advance the ignition when the engine is warm.
