AIR CUT OFF VALVES PREVENT "AFTER BURN" GENERATED WHEN THE THROTTLE IS SUDDENLY CLOSED WHEN THE THROTTLE IS SUDDENLY CLOSED, THE VALVE TEMPORARILY CLOSES THE SLOW-JET PASSAGEWAY---CREATING AN INSTANTLY RICHER MIXTURE AND THUS REDUCES "POP" SOUNDS UPON DE-ACCELERATION
Indeed.
Replace the valve unless it is rebuildable. If you pull it out it may have an O ring you can replace.
It is on the right side of the carburetor. You can bypass it and then disconnect the hose leading from it. This valve is there to cut the air flow off to enrichen the air to gas mixture when the bike is being decelerated. The valve prevents backfiring on a mixture that is too lean. Honda jetted these bikes very lean so that is the reason.
To cut off he air to smoother
no.
You will probably have to cut it out with a hacksaw and install a new valve.
The shocks have a air valve just like a tire valve, just take the cap off the valve and depress the insert in the valve to let air out.
fuel cut off valve not working, to shut a diesel off all you have to do is cut off the fuel,
she fell off of a motorcycle with jake
Remove the tires from the vehicle, remove air from tire and break the bead then remove valve stem and insert a standard valve stem without the sensor.
Run the motor to air up the air system. Once this is done, cut off the motor. With the motor off, put the vehicle into gear. Then, you push in the tractor protection valve, which will release the spring brakes. You then pump the brake pedal (or the Johnson bar, if you prefer) repeatedly, and this will bleed out air pressure. When the air pressure gets low (below 60), the tractor protection valve should pop out automatically.
Yes if the valve is leaking. But in general the answer is no.
