Sable is best described as red & white (most common corgi coloring) with a black dusting around the head and back area. Think tricolor but very faint on the black coloring. I think it comes off as one of the best colors for the pem- I get very excites when ever I end up with a puppy born this color since it isn't seen as often as the other pembroke colors.
The Sable Pembroke Welsh Corgi coat looks very similar to a standard German Sheppard coat.
They stand around a foot tall and weight between 25-30 lbs. They have medium sized bodies that are on the longer side, and have very short legs. Their faces look very similar to a fox.
They don't, Pembroke Welsh Corgi's are born with out tails, if you see a corgi with a tail, you are looking at a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. They have big bushy tails, and Pembroke's have tails but there tails are small invisible nubs.
no only if you hurt them and like all dogs they can be food aggressive to other dogs
Pembroke Welsh Corgi's Cardigan Welsh Corgi's Scottish Terriers Bull Terriers Collies There are many others but it really depends on the attitude or tempermant of the dog. Or even sometimes gender
Most creatures like snow.
welsh springer spaniel looks a bit like an English springer spaniel but tends to be lighter in colour :)
The absolute best way to keep a corgi from developing back problems is to make sure that its weight stays within the ideal range. Corgis have big appetites and can very easily become overweight, which puts a great deal more strain on their backs. Remember that being just 3 or 4 pounds overweight, for a corgi, is like a human being carrying 20-25 extra pounds, and unlike humans, who carry their weight directly over their knees and ankles, corgis must support much of their weight with their long spines.
On nintendogs there are 14 breeds of dogs that are: German sheperd Shih Tzu Boxer Beagle Shetland Sheepdog Golden Retriever Labrador Retriever Miniature Pinscher Toy Poodle Miniature Schnauzer Pembroke Welsh Corgi Shiba Inu Dashhound <------- the ones that look like sausage dogs Chihuahua But this is only if you collected the dog breeds from walks.
Pembroke Welsh Corgis love people. Mine especiaally loves children. They do have a tendency to nip at people's heels, but this is generally an attempt to herd them (they are a breed of heelers), not an act of aggression. If addressed early, they can be easily trained out of it. Like many small dogs, they have a tendency to want to jump up on people, and must be trained not to do this . . . especially since the average corgi's front paw will be right at kneecap level when they jump. Corgi's love people and form a particularly strong bond with their family members. They can be stand-offish to strangers if they are not socialized often but generally are very social animals.
I'm Not exactly sure, but the closest i can get is the skye terrier. The Skye Terrier has short legs like the welsh corgi, unlike the dog in Karate Dog.
yes she does like corgis
awsomeThe word "Corgi" is either from the Welsh "cor" (dwarf) and "ci" (dog). The "ci" becoming "gi" by normal mutation resulting in corgi. Another interpretation is that of "cur dog" or "Cur". This interpretation can be dated back to one of the earliest dictionaries, to Wyllam Salesbury's "A Dictionary in Englyshe and Weslhe" London, 1574, where there is a reference to the "Korgi ne gostoc", that is, Corgi or curre dogge. (The use of the K rather than the C at that time was perfectly proper and eventually the K was no longer used interchangeably with the C.) The connection of the word "Corgi" with "Cur" has considerable historical support as there are many references to Corgwn (plural of Corgi - pronounced Corg'n, sound out like oxen) in many a cywydd (a song of praise) in the 14th and 15th centuries.
I like the welsh
