Badly
Yes,
It makes them think so much about the anxiety that they can think about the sport the are playing (I'm only 8).
anxiety effects sports performances because u are so nervous that you can't do anything. for example if u are nervous in baseball and u are shaking, you will not hit or pitch the ball right
Amazement and anxiety do not mean the same thing.
Free-floating anxiety-- Anxiety that lacks a definite focus or content.
It affects your concentration and the performance. If you're very anxious, you can not focus or concentrate on work, school, and sports.
All sports people have competitive anxiety. How they interpret those anxiety symptoms is what determines whether their performance is positively or negatively affected e.g. if they think having butterflies in their stomach is a sign that they are nervous and about to fail, then they probably will. If they think butterflies are a sign of readiness to compete, then they will probably perform well.

Anxiety can definitely effect your sports performance. Anxiety is related to depression, it involves worrying about virtually everything (depending on the severity). Any thoughts that are not focused on the game at hand can effect your performance negatively.
